Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And assuredly We have set constellations in the heaven and made it fairseeming unto the beholders 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 There is nothing except that its treasuries are with Us and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 We let loose fertilizing winds, and bring water from the sky for you to drink; and you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs. 23 We know those of you who press forward, and We know the laggards, 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
