Abraham was indeed a model, devoutly obedient to Allah, (and) true in Faith, and he joined not gods with Allah: 120 Grateful for His favours: He chose him and guided him to a straight path. 121 And We gave him good in this world, and in the Hereafter he shall be of the righteous. 122 So We have taught thee the inspired (Message), "Follow the ways of Abraham the True in Faith, and he joined not gods with Allah." 123 The Sabbath was ordained only for those who differed about it, and most surely your Lord will judge between them on the resurrection day concerning that about which they differed. 124 Call unto the way of thy Lord with wisdom and fair exhortation, and reason with them in the better way. Lo! thy Lord is Best Aware of him who strayeth from His way, and He is Best Aware of those who go aright. 125 Hence, if you have to respond to an attack [in argument,] respond only to the extent of the attack levelled against you; but to bear yourselves with patience is indeed far better for [you, since God is with] those who are patient in adversity. 126 Endure with patience, for your endurance is not without the help of God. Do not grieve for them, and do not be distressed by their plots. 127 God is verily with those who are pious and devout, and those who are doers of good. 128
