O People who Believe! Do not devour usury doubling and quadrupling it; and fear Allah, hoping that you achieve success. 130 And fear the Fire, which has been prepared for the disbelievers. 131 and obey God and the Messenger; haply so you will find mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous 133 Those who expend in weal and woe, and the repressors of rage and the pardoners of men; and Allah loveth the doers of good. 134 and who, when they have committed a shameful deed or have [otherwise] sinned against themselves, remember God and pray that their sins be forgiven - for who but God could forgive sins? - and do not knowingly persist in doing whatever [wrong] they may have done. 135 These it is who shall have as their reward forgiveness from their Sustainer, and gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide: and how excellent a reward for those who labour! 136 [MANY] WAYS of life have passed away before your time. Go, then, about the earth and behold what happened in the end to those who gave the lie to the truth: 137 This is a declaration for mankind, a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil) 138 And faint not, nor grieve; ye shall overcome, if ye are believers. 139 If a wound should touch you - there has already touched the [opposing] people a wound similar to it. And these days [of varying conditions] We alternate among the people so that Allah may make evident those who believe and [may] take to Himself from among you martyrs - and Allah does not like the wrongdoers - 140 And that He may purge those who believe and deprive the unbelievers of blessings. 141 What! You assume that you will enter Paradise while Allah has not yet tested your warriors, nor yet tested the steadfast? 142 You had wished to know death before you faced it (in battle); so now you have seen it before your own eyes. 143
