Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Indeed the tree of Zaqqum, – 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 like water. 46 [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 Taste thou! thou art indeed mighty, honoured! 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 amidst gardens and springs. 52 They will be dressed in fine silk and embroidery, facing one another (on thrones). 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 They call therein for every fruit in safety. 55 and neither shall they taste death there after having passed through their erstwhile death. Thus will He have preserved them from all suffering through the blazing fire 56 God will protect them from the torment of hell as a favor from your Lord. (Muhammad), this is certainly the greatest triumph. 57 Certainly, We have made this (Quran) easy in your tongue, in order that they may remember. 58 So be on the watch; they too are on the watch. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
