Didst thou (O Muhammad) observe him who turned away, 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 just as He thrust into perdition those cities that were overthrown 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
