The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 abasing, exalting, 3 When the earth is shaken with a shock 4 and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards, 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 On that day, you (mankind) will be divided into three groups: 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 Those are they who will be brought nigh 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 And a few from the latter. 14 (They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones), 15 facing one another. 16 immortal youths shall go about them 17 with goblets, jugs and cups of crystal clear wine 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 And such fruits as they fancy, 20 and any flesh of fowl that they desire. 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 The reward for what they did. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 And the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 And spreading shade, 30 And water everflowing. 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 And raised couches. 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 And made them virgins, 36 Lovers, friends, 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
