The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of those who harshly pull out the soul. (Of the disbeliever) 1 by the angels who gently release the souls of the believers, 2 by those that swim serenely 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 And those who arrange [each] matter, 5 On the day when the first trump resoundeth. 6 and will be followed by the second one, 7 On that Day will [men's] hearts be throbbing, 8 and their eyes shall be humbled. 9 They say: shall we indeed be restored to the first state, 10 When we have become bones decayed! 11 They say, "That, then, would be a losing return." 12 Surely it will need but one shout, 13 And lo! they will be awakened. 14 Has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? 15 His Lord called out to him by the sacred valley of Tuwa: 16 "Go to the Pharaoh who has become refractory, 17 and say to him: 'Are you willing to be purified, 18 And I will guide you to your Lord so that you should fear. 19 So he showed him the great sign, 20 But he rejected (the truth) and disobeyed. 21 then he turned away hastily, 22 and gathered his people together 23 Saying: "I am alone your lord, the highest of them all." 24 but God seized him and meted out to him the chastisement of both the next world and the present: 25 Surely, in this there is a lesson for he that fears! 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
