The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the racers, panting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
