The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
