۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
