We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and at night.
