The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. 3 Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 covered down upon them, 8 In columns outstretched. 9
