▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come]. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
