The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
