But as for anyone who chooses to remain blind to the remembrance of the Most Gracious, to him We assign an [enduring] evil impulse, to become his other self: 36 and these satans hinder them from the Right Path, while he still reckons himself to be rightly-guided. 37 When he returns to us, he will say (to satan), "Would that there had been as long a distance between me and you as that between the East and West. What a terrible companion you have been". 38 But nothing will avail you on that day, for you were unjust, and you will be partners in the punishment. 39 CANST THOU, perchance, [O Muhammad,] make the deaf hear, or show the right way to the blind or to such as are obviously lost in error? 40 We shall revenge them either after your death 41 or make you see the end that We had promised them, for We have full power over them. 42 So hold fast to all that has been revealed to thee: for, behold, thou art on a straight way; 43 And most surely it is a reminder for you and your people, and you shall soon be questioned. 44 And ask (O Muhammad SAW) those of Our Messengers whom We sent before you: "Did We ever appoint aliha (gods) to be worshipped besides the Most Beneficent (Allah)?" 45

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
