Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allah. To Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs [all] praise, and He is over all things competent. 1 He it is Who has created you: and among you are those that deny the Truth and among you are those that believe in it. Allah observes all that you do. 2 He created the heavens and the earth in truth and He shaped you and gave you good shapes. To Him is the arrival. 3 He knows what is within the heavens and earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare. And Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts. 4 Have you not heard about those who denied the truth before you and tasted the evil consequences of their conduct? They will have a painful punishment. 5 That was because there came to them their Messengers with clear proofs (signs), but they said: "Shall mere men guide us?" So they disbelieved and turned away (from the truth), and Allah was not in need (of them). And Allah is Rich (Free of all wants), Worthy of all praise. 6 The unbelievers assert that they will never be raised up. Say: 'Yes indeed, by my Lord! You shall be raised up, then you shall be told the things you did. That is easy for God.' 7 So believe in Allah and in His Messenger and in the Light that We have sent down. Allah is fully aware of what you do. 8 The day when He will gather you, on the Day of Collective Assembly – that is the day when the loss of the losers will be laid bare; and whoever believes in Allah and does good deeds, Allah will relieve him of his sins and admit him into Gardens beneath which rivers flow, for them to abide in it forever; this is the greatest success. 9 Those who did not believe and denied Our revelations will be inmates of Hell, where they will abide for ever, and how evil a journey's end! 10
