۞ O men! It is you, who stand in need of God, whereas He alone is self-sufficient, the One to whom all praise is due. 15 If He will, He can put you away and bring a new creation; 16 Nor is that (at all) difficult for Allah. 17 And a bearer of burthen will not bear another's burthen, and if one heavy-laden calleth for his load, naught thereof will be borne although he be of kin. Thou canst warn only those who fear their Lord, unseen, and establish prayer. And whosoever becometh clean becometh clean only for himself; and unto Allah is the return. 18 The blind and the seeing are not equal, 19 And neither are darkness and brightness! 20 Nor the shade and the heat, 21 Nor are the living equal with the dead. Lo! Allah maketh whom He will to hear. Thou canst not reach those who are in the graves. 22 Thou art no other than a warner. 23 And O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), We have indeed sent you with the Truth, giving glad tidings and heralding warnings; and there was a Herald of Warning in every group. 24 And if they belie thee, then surely those before them have also belied. Their apostles came unto them with evidences and scriptures and a Book luminous. 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved, and how terrible was My denial (punishment)! 26
