By no means! By the moon, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 Warn the men. 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 From the guilty. 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 until death approached us". 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
