The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By those that pluck out vehemently 1 And who softly release the soul of the believer. 2 And those who glide swimmingly, 3 And those who race each other in a race 4 And who plan the implementation. 5 The Day when the quaking will cause a violent convulsion, 6 and will be followed by the second one, 7 On that day hearts beat painfully 8 While eyes are downcast 9 They say: 'What, are we being restored as we were before, 10 What! when we are rotten bones? 11 They say: “That will then be a return with a great loss!” 12 Indeed, it will be but one shout, 13 And lo! they will be awakened. 14 HAS THE STORY of Moses ever come within thy ken. 15 His Lord called out to him by the sacred valley of Tuwa: 16 That "Go to Firaun - he has rebelled." 17 "Tell him 'Do you have the inclination to become pure?' 18 that I may direct you to your Lord and then you hold Him in awe?'” 19 So he showed him the great sign, 20 but he cried lies, and rebelled, 21 Then he turned away, deliberating, 22 Then gathered he and summoned 23 And proclaimed: "I (Pharaoh) am your Lord the Highest." 24 Allah therefore seized him, in the punishment of this world and the Hereafter. 25 Verily, in this is an instructive admonition for whosoever fears Allah. 26
