We have revealed to you the Book in all Truth so that you judge among people by the laws of God. However, never defend the treacherous ones. 105 And seek the Forgiveness of Allah, certainly, Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 106 And contend thou not for those who defraud their souls; verily Allah loveth not one who is a defrauder, sinner. 107 They feel ashamed before men but do not feel ashamed before God, despite His being present with them when they plot at night, uttering things of which He does not approve; and indeed God is fully aware of what they do. 108 Behold! you are they who (may) plead for them in this world's life, but who will plead for them with Allah on the resurrection day, or who shall be their protector? 109 And whoever does evil or acts unjustly to his soul, then asks forgiveness of Allah, he shall find Allah Forgiving, Merciful. 110 for he who commits a sin, commits it only to his own hurt; and God is indeed all-knowing, wise. 111 And whosoever earns a fault or a sin and then casts it upon the innocent, thereby has laid upon himself calumny and manifest sin. 112
