It is God who has created ears, eyes, and hearts for you. Little are the thanks that you give. 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said. 81 They say: "What! when we die and become dust and bones, could we really be raised up again? 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 Say: "If you have knowledge, 'to whom belongs the earth' and, 'whoever is in it? '" 84 They will say, "To God." Say, "So will you not pay heed? 85 Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “Then by what magic are you deceived?” 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]. 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
