Hast thou not regarded those who dispute concerning the signs of God, how they are turned about? 69 those who reject the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers shall soon know -- 70 When around their necks will be shackles and chains; they will be dragged. – 71 In the boiling fetid fluid: then in the Fire shall they be burned; 72 It will then be said to them: “Where are those whom you 73 Besides Allah? They shall say: They are gone away from us, nay, we used not to call upon anything before. Thus does Allah confound the unbelievers. 74 (And it will be said): 'That is because you rejoiced on earth in things of which you had no right, and were very happy. 75 “Enter the gates of hell, to remain in it forever”; so what a wretched destination for the haughty! 76 So persevere in patience; for the Promise of Allah is true: and whether We show thee (in this life) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (before that),-(in any case) it is to Us that they shall (all) return. 77 Before your time We sent other messengers: of them there are some whose story We have related to you, and some whose story We have not related to you. It was not [possible] for any messenger to bring a sign except by the leave of God: but when the command of God was issued, the matter was decided in truth and justice. There and then, those who stood on falsehoods perished. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
