We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they charged each other with this? Nay! they are an inordinate people. 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
