To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Lo! the guilty are in error and madness. 47 On the day when they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces (it is said unto them): Feel the touch of hell. 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 Every matter, small and great, is on record. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55
