The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
