▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And we have given unto you livelihoods therein, and unto those for whom ye provide not. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
