Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
