Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the heavens and al-tariq. 1 And what could make thee conceive what it is that comes in the night? 2 The piercing star! 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 So let man observe from what he was created. 5 He was created from spurting fluid, 6 issuing from between the backbone and the breastbone: 7 Verily, (Allah) is Able to bring him back (to life)! 8 The Day that (all) things secret will be tested, 9 Then man will have no power or any helper. 10 By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again. 11 by earth splitting with verdure, 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 And is not a matter of amusement. 14 They are cunningly devising, 15 but I too plan against them. 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
