It is He who made the earth subservient to you that you may travel all around it, and eat of things He has provided; and to Him will be your resurrection. 15 Are you so unafraid that He who is in Heaven will not open up the earth to swallow you, when it will begin to tremble? 16 Do you feel secure that He who is in the heaven will not loose against you a squall of pebbles then you shall know how was My warning. 17 And already had those before them denied, and how [terrible] was My reproach. 18 Have they not regarded the birds above them spreading their wings, and closing them? Naught holds them but the All-merciful. Surely He sees everything. 19 Or who is he that will be an army unto you to help you instead of the Beneficent? The disbelievers are in naught but illusion. 20 Who can provide for you, if He withholds His provision? Yet they obstinately persist in rebellion and avoidance of the truth. 21 Who is better guided: he who walks grovelling on his face, or he who walks upright on a Straight Path? 22 SAY: "[God is] He who has brought you [all] into being, and has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and hearts: [yet] how seldom are you grateful!" 23 Say: "It is He Who has created you from the earth, and to Him shall you be gathered (in the Hereafter)." 24 And they say: When shall this threat be (executed) if you are truthful? 25 Say: 'The knowledge (of that) is with Allah; I am only a clear warner' 26 But when they see it drawing near, the faces of those who deny the truth will turn gloomy and they will be told, "This is what you were calling for." 27 Say thou: bethink ye if Allah destroy me and those with me; or have mercy on us, who will protect the infidels from a torment afflictive? 28 Proclaim, “He only is the Most Gracious – we have accepted faith in Him and have relied only upon Him; so you will now realise who is in open error.” 29 Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?" 30
