The people of Lut rejected the messengers. 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear God? 161 "Verily! I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 162 So keep your duty to Allah and obey me. 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the lord of the Worlds. 164 "Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males, 165 leaving aside those whom Allah has created for you as your mates. Nay, you are a people that has transgressed all limits." 166 Said they: "Indeed, If thou desist not, O Lot, thou wilt most certainly be expelled [from this township]!" 167 He said, "Indeed, I am, toward your deed, of those who detest [it]. 168 "My Lord! Save me and my family from what they do." 169 Thereupon We saved him and all his household 170 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 171 We then destroyed the others. 172 And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned. 173 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 174 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 175

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
