He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away. 1 because the blind man approached him! 2 And what do you know, he may be of the pure! 3 Or that he might receive admonition, and the teaching might profit him? 4 But the self-sufficient, 5 Unto him thou payest regard. 6 though you will not be questioned even if he never purifies himself. 7 And for him who came to you striving, 8 And whereas he fears, 9 him didst thou disregard! 10 Nay, (do not do like this), indeed it (these Verses of this Quran) are an admonition, 11 For any one who desires to bear it in mind, 12 It is contained in scrolls highly honoured, 13 Exalted (in dignity), kept pure and holy, 14 Written by the hands of emissaries. 15 Noble and dutiful. 16 May (the disbelieving) human being be condemned! What makes him disbelieve? 17 Of what did He create him? 18 Of a small seed; He created him, then He made him according to a measure, 19 Then made his passage easy (at birth); 20 Then He causes him to die and be buried. 21 Then, when it is His Will, He will raise him up (again). 22 But no. He has not fulfilled what was enjoined on him. 23 Let man therefore consider (the sources of) his food. 24 That We watered it in abundance. 25 and then We cleaved the earth asunder. 26 And caused to grow within it grain 27 and grape vines and vegetables, 28 And olive-trees and palm-trees 29 and dense orchards, 30 fruits, and grass. 31 (These are made so as to be) means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 32 But when the deafening blast is sounded, 33 That Day shall a man flee from his own brother, 34 and from his mother and father, 35 And from his wife and his children. 36 For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him. 37 Some faces on that day shall shine 38 laughing and joyous 39 And [other] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust. 40 Covered with the blackness (of shame): 41 These are they who are unbelievers, the wicked. 42
God the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
