The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 in extended columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
