The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by (the angels) who stand in ranks, 1 and the drivers driving, 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Lo! thy Lord is surely One; 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21
