We swear that We have created the human being and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are closer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left. 17 Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!" 19 And the Horn shall be blown; that is the Day of Threat! 20 And every soul shall come, and with it a driver and a witness. 21 'Thou wast heedless of this; therefore We have now removed from thee thy covering, and so thy sight today is piercing.' 22 And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 Hinderer of good, trespasser, doubter 25 Who had set up another god with God. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ His companion said: “I did not incite him to rebel; he was far gone into error of his own accord.” 27 Allah will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already, in advance, sent you the threat. 28 and My word shall not be changed, nor am I unjust to My servants." 29
