Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
