We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed, 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). 23 And indeed We know those among you who came forward and indeed We know those among you who remained behind. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
