Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
