The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
