And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat. 33 And We produce therein orchard with date-palms and vines, and We cause springs to gush forth therein: 34 That they may enjoy the fruits of this (artistry): It was not their hands that made this: will they not then give thanks? 35 Exaltations to Him who created pairs of all the things the earth produces and of themselves, and that of which they have no knowledge. 36 A sign for them is the night. From it We withdraw the day and they are in darkness. 37 The sun runs to its fixed resting place; that is the decree of the Almighty, the Knower. 38 And We have appointed positions for the moon till it returns like an old branch of the date palm. 39 It is not allowable for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming. 40 And a sign to them is that We bear their offspring in the laden ship. 41 and created for them similar things to ride. 42 And if We please, We can drown them, then there shall be no succorer for them, nor shall they be rescued 43 Except by way of Mercy from Us, and by way of (world) convenience (to serve them) for a time. 44 When it is said to them: "Beware of what is before you and what is past, that you may be treated with kindness;" 45 Indeed, not one of your Lord's signs comes to them without their turning away from it, 46 And when it is said to them: “Spend (in the Way of Allah) out of the sustenance that Allah has provided you,” the unbelievers say to the believers: “Shall we feed him whom, Allah would have fed, had He so wished?” Say: “You are in evident error.” 47 And they say: "When will this promise (i.e. Resurrection) be fulfilled, if you are truthful?" 48 They are awaiting only for one Cry to seize them while they are yet disputing, 49 Then they will be unable to make a will, nor shall they return to their kinsmen. 50
