And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
