The deniers of the Truth say: “Do not give ear to the Qur'an and cause interruption when it is recited; thus perhaps you will gain the upper hand.” 26 We shall certainly make the unbelievers suffer severe torment and will punish them far worse than what they deserve for their deeds. 27 The recompense of the enemies of God for their rejection of Our revelations will be fire as their eternal dwelling. 28 And the disbelievers said, “Our Lord! Show us both – among jinns and men – who misled us, for us to put them beneath our feet so that they be the lowest of the low.” 29 Those who have said, 'Our Lord is God.' then have gone straight, upon them the angels descend, saying, 'Fear not, neither sorrow; rejoice in Paradise that you were promised. 30 We are your guardians in this world and in the life to come, where you will have whatever you call for, 31 An entertainment from the Forgiving, the Merciful. 32
