The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the night when it envelopeth, 1 and the day as it rises bright! 2 And the creating of the male and the female, 3 Verily, (the ends) ye strive for are diverse. 4 As for he who gives and fears Allah 5 And testifieth to the Good, 6 We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Bliss. 7 And as for him who is niggardly and considers himself free from need (of Allah), 8 and he belied the finest 9 We will facilitate for him the difficult end. 10 And his riches will not avail him when he falls headlong (into the Abyss). 11 Indeed, Guidance is Ours, 12 And to Us belong the End and the Beginning. 13 I therefore warn you of the fire that is ablaze. 14 Which only the most wretched must endure, 15 Who had denied and turned away. 16 And avoid it shall the most pious, 17 [He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself 18 They do not expect any reward 19 but only out of a longing for the countenance of his Sustainer, the All-Highest: 20 He verily will be content. 21
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
