۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
