And verily it is a revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 which the truthful spirit has carried down 193 Upon your heart that you may be of the warners 194 (a revelation) in clear Arabic language, 195 And verily, it (the Quran, and its revelation to Prophet Muhammad SAW) is (announced) in the Scriptures [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] of former people. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 Had We revealed it to a man of obscure tongue 198 So that he should have recited it to them, they would not have believed therein. 199 Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Quran) to enter the hearts of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.). 200 they shall not believe in it until they see the painful punishment 201 It will come upon them unawares, and they will not comprehend it. 202 Then will they say: "Can we be given respite?" 203 Do they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 and then the promised punishment fell upon them, 206 of what avail would their past enjoyment be to them? 207 We never destroyed any town without first sending to them warning and guidance. 208 as a reminder from Us: We are never unjust. 209 And the satans have not brought it down. 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 Lo! verily they are banished from the hearing. 212 Therefore do not worship another deity along with Allah, for you will be punished. 213 And warn thy tribe of near kindred, 214 And be kind to him who follows you of the believers. 215 If they do not obey you, tell them: "I am not responsible for what you do." 216 Put thy trust in the All-mighty, the All-compassionate 217 Who watches you when you stand up. 218 And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah. 219 Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the Satans come down? 221 They descend on every guilty impostor. 222 They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars. 223 Poets are followed by the perverse. 224 Seest thou not that they wander distracted in every valley?- 225 and how they say that which they do not? 226 Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell). 227
True are the words of God the Almighty.
