THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
