He it is Who hath made the earth unto you subservient, so go forth in the regions thereof, and eat of His provision. And unto Him is the Resurrection. 15 Can you ever feel secure that He who is in heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you up when, lo and behold, it begins to quake? 16 Or do ye feel secure that He Who is in Heaven will not send against you a violent tornado (with showers of stones), so that ye shall know how (terrible) was My warning? 17 Those who lived before them had also rejected Our warning, and how terrible was Our retribution! 18 Do they not see the birds above them, spreading out their wings and folding them in? None upholds them except the Most Beneficent (Allah). Verily, He is the All-Seer of everything. 19 Or, who is it that shall be your host to help you, other than the Merciful? Indeed, the unbelievers are only deluded. 20 Who is he that can provide for you if He should withhold His provision? Nay, but they continue to be in pride, and (they) flee (from the truth). 21 What, is he who walks, falling upon his face, more guided than he who walks upright on a Straight Path! 22 Say: “He it is Who has brought you into being, and has given you hearing and sight, and has given you hearts to think and understand. How seldom do you give thanks!” 23 Say: 'It was He who created you, dispersing you in the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered' 24 They say, "When will this torment take place if what you say is true?" 25 Say: The knowledge is with Allah only, and I am but a plain warner; 26 When they see the torment approaching, the faces of the disbelievers will blacken and they will be told, "This is what you wanted to (experience)". 27 Say: "See ye?- If Allah were to destroy me, and those with me, or if He bestows His Mercy on us,- yet who can deliver the Unbelievers from a grievous Penalty?" 28 Say thou: He is the Compassionate; in Him we have believed, and in Him we have put our trust. And anon ye will know who it is that is in error manifest. 29 Say to them: “Did you even consider: if all the water that you have (in the wells) were to sink down into the depths of the earth, who will produce for you clear, flowing water?” 30
