Al-Teen

The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

I swear by the fig and the olive, 1 and the Mount Sinai 2 and by this inviolable city, Mecca. 3 We have created the human being in the best form 4 and thereafter We reduce him to the lowest of low 5 except the righteously striving believers who will have a never ending reward. 6 Then what (or who) causes you (O disbelievers) to deny the Recompense (i.e. Day of Resurrection)? 7 Is not God the greatest of the judges? 8
