People (Al-Naas)

6 verses, revealed in Mecca after Daybreak (Al-Falaq) before Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, 1 The King (or Ruler) of Mankind, 2 The God of mankind, 3 from the mischief of every sneaking whis-perer, 4 Who whispereth unto the breasts of mankind, 5 from jinn and men." 6

True are the words of God the Almighty.
