In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Alif Lam Mim. 1 This is the Book of Allah: there is no doubt about it. It is guidance to Godfearing people, 2 the pious who believe in the unseen, attend to prayer, give in charity part of what We have granted them; 3 those who believe in the revelation sent down to you and in what was sent before you, and firmly believe in the life to come -- 4 They have found the guidance of their Lord and will be successful. 5 Those who disbelieve, whether you forewarn them or not, they will not believe. 6 God has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a covering, and there awaits them a mighty chastisement. 7
