Therefore continue to give warning, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer or a madman. 29 Or do they say: 'He is a poet, we are waiting for some misfortune to befall him' 30 Say (O Muhammad SAW to them): "Wait! I am with you, among the waiters!" 31 Nay! do their understandings bid them this? Or are they an inordinate people? 32 Or do they say, "He has invented it himself"? Indeed, they are not willing to believe. 33 So let them bring a discourse like it, if they are truthful 34 Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? 35 Did they create the heavens and the earth? No! They have no faith. 36 Or do they have the treasures of your Lord, or are they the authority? 37 Have they a ladder up to heaven by means of which they can overhear? Then let their listeners bring a clear proof. 38 Or has He daughters while you have sons? 39 Or askest thou a hire from them so that they are with debt laden? 40 Or possess they the Unseen so that they can write (it) down? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad SAW)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) are themselves in a plot! 42 Or have they a deity other than Allah? Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. 43 And if they were to see a piece of the heaven falling down, they would say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 So leave them alone until they encounter that Day of theirs when they shall be struck down, 45 The Day when their plotting shall not avail them at all nor will they be helped (i.e. they will receive their torment in Hell). 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not. 47 So wait patiently (O Muhammad SAW) for the Decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes, and glorify the Praises of your Lord when you get up from sleep. 48 And in the night time, also glorify His Praises, and at the setting of the stars. 49
